Jay is a Director of Asset Management at Hathaway Companies, leveraging deep real estate and underwriting expertise to drive asset management, portfolio valuation, and strategic initiatives across the SunBelt markets.

 

Jay’s diverse background includes over a decade of combined real estate and construction management experience spanning asset management, acquisitions, capital project deployment, and project engineering. Prior to joining Hathaway Companies, he held leadership and investment roles at RangeWater Real Estate, where he spearheaded the acquisition of value-add properties, operational transition of acquired properties, managed comprehensive value-add business plans, and evaluated over 140 potential investment opportunities annually. Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Jay worked in construction project management at Clark Construction Group, directing multi-million dollar trade coordination and project execution for major multifamily and commercial developments in the Washington, D.C. area.

 

Jay earned a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from George Washington University, where he played collegiate baseball. Jay resides in Atlanta with his wife and enjoys playing squash and golf and cheering on his hometown Braves.
